A moving story...

In 1914, a major public appeal raised almost £140,000 to open the Royal Hospital for Sick Children on its current site at Yorkhill in Glasgow. Now, almost 100 years later Yorkhill Hospital is on the move again and we need your help.

A brand new 256-bed children’s hospital will be built on the Southern General campus in Govan in the south of Glasgow. The new hospital will be physically linked to the refurbished maternity unit and a new adult hospital in order to

provide the best possible care for new babies and their mothers, as well as sick children and teenagers. Yorkhill Children’s Foundation is committed to raising funds through the ‘Yorkhill’s Moving’ appeal, which will be used to fund additional resources to enhance and improve the facilities and services in the new children’s hospital.
