Yorkhill Children’s Foundation was established as a registered charity in 2001 and is the only charity supporting the whole hospital and not a specific ward or illness. It provides funding to enhance and progress the care of sick children from all over Scotland and further afield who are treated at Yorkhill Hospital and other related facilities throughout NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

The funds raised by Yorkhill Children’s Foundation go towards providing innovative medical equipment, improvements in child and family facilities, paediatric research and training along with a variety of other programmes.

About Yorkhill Children’s Foundation

Throughout the last twenty years, paediatric cardiology has made some dramatic steps forward, with research and development in treatment and equipment supported by philanthropists and governments worldwide. The chances of our team being able to save a child and give them another 80 years of life are improving everyday, but we will always need extra funding to help us do that.
